Whoever digs a hole will fall into it, and whoever sets a trap will get caught in it.
In the sight of thy eyes he will sweeten his mouth, and will admire thy words: but at the last he will writhe his mouth, and on thy words he will lay a stumblingblock.
People who set traps fall into them themselves.
Whoever digs a pit falls into it, and whoever lays a snare is caught in it.
